Welcome. I am a thirtysomething Gay Asian Male. The following is a Gay Bathhouse Blog of my experiences and encounters in a Gay Bathhouse Gay Sauna Gay Steam Baths Gay Tubs over the last ten years.
Since I was 21 years old, I have visited the baths for over ten years; usually once a week, sometimes two or three times a week. I have gone at all hours: morning, noon, night or very late at night. Through those visits I have met some of the most diverse and interesting people. Had amazing conversations with men I've never met before. And seen things that I never knew about, without having to learn about from an episode of "Sex in the City" or "Queer as Folk". Everything from Glory Holes to Bukake action is written about. I want to share my stories.
I started writing these stories because I noticed that no one had ever talked about what goes on in a bathhouse. You can find many erotic stories written about encounters at the baths. But there are hardly any books written about the politics and the whole culture that takes place behind the doors at a bathhouse. Believe me, it is a whole other world. By writing about those topics, I hope that people come away with a better understanding of a gay bathhouse. It should not be looked upon as a dirty word.
I will not tell you who I am, or what city I live in. I will say that these stories originate in a vast urban North American city that has a very large and diverse gay community. The city could be Akron, Atlanta, Austin, Buffalo, Calgary, Cathedral City, Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Edmonton, Flushing, Fort Erie, Fort Lauderdale, Honolulu, Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Key West, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Mar Vista, Miami, Milwaukee, Montreal, New Orleans, New York, North Hollywood, Orlando, Ottawa, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, Providence, Rochester, Saint Louis, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, Tampa, Toledo, Toronto, Van Nuys, Vancouver, Washington DC, West Hollywood, Wilmington, Windsor, or even Winnipeg. At least one bathhouse is situated in the cities listed above.
